Bridgetown Regional Community School

Completed in 2017 with our partners at Architecture49, BMR served as the lead structural consultant on this 83,000 square foot, P-12 educational facility. Built to meet LEED gold standards, this unique facility includes elementary, high school, and technical education wings and houses a double gymnasium, circular library, cafeteria, visual arts space, music space, and rooftop garden. The building frame design consists of challenging geometric shapes to accommodate the architectural design and includes long span roof joists for open common areas, a unique circular structure for the library design, and a steel raker system that support interior concrete bleachers.

BMR’s services included design development, structural design and preparation of construction documents, BIM collaboration, detailed construction specifications, and tender & construction administration.
