Ivor MacDonald

As a Senior Structural Engineer with 16 years of diverse structural experience, Ivor MacDonald has successfully lead numerous high-profile projects throughout Atlantic Canada. Ivor is a past graduate of Dalhousie University and the President of BMR Structural Engineering, having led numerous challenging projects including schools, nursing homes, multi-unit residential buildings, university, and college buildings, just to name a few.  Ivor specializes in the rehabilitation of existing building structures, bringing a practical and thoughtful approach to every project. His extensive experience in assessing and restoring aging structures has made him a trusted expert in the field.  Ivor also leads our team in the structural design and rehabilitation of cladding systems for new and existing buildings.
