John Richardson

Senior Structural Engineer John Richardson has been a driving force behind countless schools, university and college buildings, hospitals, nursing homes, and recreational buildings throughout Atlantic Canada. A past graduate of the University of New Brunswick, John is a past Vice-President and founding member of the firm. In his more than 38 years with BMR, John’s experience has covered virtually all structure types, including steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and tilt-up panels.  As a LEED® Accredited Professional, John brings to every project an understanding of green building practices and principles that meet the LEED internationally accepted benchmark for the design and construction of high performance green buildings. John’s wealth of experience provides an immense resource for our team as well as valued mentorship for our up-and-coming professionals.
